    Quantity of acetone in mixture Y = 150 × 7/15 = 70 litres Quantity of glycerine in mixture Y = 150 – 70 = 80 litres After addition of 8 litres of acetone, New ratio of glycerine to acetone = 80:(70 + 8) = 40:39
