100 litres of mixture of milk and water, contains 50%
milk. When ‘x’ litres of water is added in the mixture, the quantity of water becomes 30% more than that of milk. Find the value of ‘x’.Solution
According to the question,
1.30 × 0.50 × 100 = (0.50 × 100) + x
=> 65 = 50 + x
=> x = 65 – 50 = 15
