Let the distance be D km According to the question, D/10 + D/30 + D/8 = 15.5/60 (12D + 4D + 15D)/120 = 15.5/60 31D/120 = 15.5/60 D = (15.5 x 120)/(60 x 31) D = 1 km So, the total distance = 1 + 1 + 1 = 3km
