RBI Assistant Exam Pattern
Preparing for any kind of examination requires a good strategy and a preparation plan which covers every topic in a proper manner. To crack the RBI Assistant 2021, you need to first get complete information about the RBI Assistant exam, so that you have a good idea about what to expect in the exam and what to prepare. RBI Assistant 2021 is conducted in two phases: Phase 1 (Prelims) & Phase 2 (Mains). There will not be any third stage i.e. Interview as it is a clerical level post. Both phases of RBI Assistant 2021 are conducted online which will consist of questions from various subjects. All the sections in RBI Assistant 2021 will be allotted marks and there will be a composite timing of 1 hour. Let’s look into the RBI Assistant exam pattern 2021 in detail.
RBI Assistant Phase 1 (Prelims) Exam Pattern 2021
The RBI Assistant preliminary online exam duration is of 1 hr. There are 3 sections consisting of 100 questions and of 100 marks. Candidates must clear the sectional cut-off to qualify for the RBI Assistant Main exam. The section-wise details are given below:

- The above online test/s except the Test of English Language will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.
- Candidates will have to pass in each of the objective tests of the online examinations.
- A candidate has to qualify in Preliminary Examination for appearing in Main Examination.
- There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests (Preliminary and Main examination).1/4th marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
RBI Assistant Phase 2 (Mains) Exam Pattern 2021
The RBI Assistant mains online exam duration is 135 minutes. There are five sections consisting of 200 questions and of 200 marks. There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked by the candidate. 1/4th of the marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The section-wise details are given below:

Language Proficiency Test (LPT) - The candidates provisionally shortlisted from the main on-line examination will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT). The language proficiency test will be conducted in the Official / Local Language of the State concerned as detailed below). Candidate not proficient in the Official / Local Language shall be disqualified.
RBI Assistant Marking Scheme
Almost all competitive exams have a set pattern of marking scheme. All the questions in the RBI Assistant exam will carry 1 mark each. There will be a penalty of 0.25 or 1/4th marks assigned to that question for each wrong answer you marked in the RBI Assistant exam. An unattempted answer will attract no penalty.

RBI Assistant Language Proficiency Test
After both phases of RBI Assistant 2021 are over, selected candidates are expected to be called for the Language Proficiency Test in which the candidates have to read and write the official language of that particular state. Please note that if a candidate fails to qualify the official language test his/her candidature will be canceled for RBI Assistant 2021.
