Highlights 2021

IBPS is one of the major employing organizations which conducts recruitment drives to employ eligible candidates into the various banking organizations. IBPS Clerk exam is one such important examination that is held every year to recruit eligible candidates in the clerical cadre. The official notification of IBPS Clerk 2021 is finally out with 5830 vacancies. IBPS Clerk prelims exam is scheduled on August 28, 29 and September 04, 2021. However, it has been put on hold by the Ministry of finance. In order to discuss the demand coming from students of the south (to include other recognized regional languages as well), a committee has been constituted to look into the matter in its entirety. Right now, the exam is bilingual i.e. you can attempt the exam in either Hindi or English. There are 22 recognized languages in India. The committee will come with the result in 15 days.

Notification 2021

Finally, the wait is over. Official notification of IBPS Clerk exam 2021 has been released. All the exams conducted by IBPS hold utmost importance as they give a golden chance to make your place in one of the best banks listed under IBPS. The online registration and application process for the IBPS Clerk exam 2021 has already been started. The last date to apply for the same is August 01, 2021.  IBPS Clerk Prelims is scheduled to take place on August 28, 29, and September 04, 2021. The Mains exam will be held on October 31, 2021. 

 

Exam Pattern 2021

IBPS Clerk is one of the most popular examinations and the competition, therefore, will be quite tough. You need to be fully prepared with whatever resources you have.   • There will be no interview after the IBPS Clerk Mains exam 2021 and the scores obtained in this will ensure the final selection.
  • The exam will be 'bilingual' in nature (English & Hindi) except for the test of English Language. It applies to both the phases: Prelims & Mains.

IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam Pattern 2021

IBPS Clerk Prelims 2021 will be an online objective test with multiple-choice questions. The IBPS Clerk exam pattern consists of three sections - English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. All these sections will be allotted different marks. Total marks will be 100 and sectional timing will be allotted for each section. You have to qualify for each of these tests.

  • There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks in the IBPS Clerk Prelims exam. 
  • IBPS will release sectional cut-offs for each subject. You have to score these minimum qualifying marks to enter the next phase ie IBPS Clerk Mains.

IBPS Clerk Mains Exam Pattern 2021

If you qualify for IBPS Clerk Prelims, you have to appear in the second phase: IBPS Clerk Mains. You need to qualify the overall cut-off marks along with the sectional cut-offs. The IBPS Clerk exam pattern 2021 for Mains consist of four sections/tests: English Language, Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude, General/Financial Awareness and Quantitative Aptitude. You need to prepare for all these subjects in a good way in order to qualify all the sections along with the overall cut-off of the IBPS Clerk exam. The total questions in IBPS Clerk Mains will be 190 and the time duration will be 2hour 40 minutes. The number of questions in each section will vary. The timings will be different for all sections and you will not be able to switch between the sections until the timing for that section gets exhausted.  Eligibility Criteria 2021

Before you start the application process for the IBPS Clerk exam 2021, you will have to first ensure if you are eligible for the same. You need to be eligible in all respects as per the criteria mentioned by IBPS, failing which you will not be allowed to apply to the IBPS Clerk exam. You need to follow the complete IBPS Clerk eligibility criteria including educational qualifications, age etc.

You need to possess a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent qualification recognized by Central Government to apply for the IBPS Clerk exam 2021. If you fail to possess the required qualification, you will not be able to apply or appear in the IBPS Clerk exam.

  • A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
  • The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/she is a graduate on the day he/she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.
  • Computer Literacy: Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ should have studied Computer/Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute.
  • Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT (candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/UT) for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is preferable.
  • Ex-Servicemen who do not possess the above civil examination qualifications should be matriculate Ex-Servicemen who have obtained the Army Special Certificate of Education or corresponding certificate in the Navy or Air Force after having completed not less than 15 years of service in the Armed Forces of the Union as on 23.09.2020. Such certificates should be dated on or before 23.09.2020.

The IBPS Clerk official notification 2021 is finally out. The application process for IBPS Clerk 2021 has been started.   • You will have to upload your scanned photograph and signature according to the mentioned specifications.

  • Submit your verified application form and move to the final step.

Once the application process for the IBPS Clerk exam 2021 is completed, the admit cards of the IBPS Clerk exam will be released few days before the examination. Please note that your IBPS Clerk Prelims exam admit card will not be collected at the time of the exam as it used to be earlier, however, it will be duly stamped by the exam centre staff.
