IBPS CLERK 2018 Exam Syllabus

Phase I - Preliminary Examination

The IBPS Clerk 2018 preliminary exam is expected to have 100 multiple choice questions (MCQs) from English, Reasoning Ability and Numerical Ability.  

The date for Prelims exam are 08-09 & 15-16 December 2018.Check out other important dates here.

Phase II - Main Examination

In 2017, there was a change in the exam pattern for the mains exam. The main exam of IBPS Clerk 2017-had 190 objective questions divided into four sections, to be answered in 02 hours and 40 minutes. The Section on Computer Ability has been merged with Reasoning Ability. A similar Exam Pattern for IBPS Clerk 2018 is expected as mentioned in the table below. Any change in the exam pattern will be updated after the release of official notification.

Q.What are the different sections are in IBPS Clerk

Ans. The Preliminary consist of three sections, English language, Quantitative aptitude and Logical Reasoning. For the Main examination, there would be four sections namely, English, Quantative Aptitude, Reasoning & Computer aptitude and General/Financial Awareness.

Ans. Two stages- preliminary examination and mains examination
