The Preliminary paper has only three that is Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language. Every section (except English Language) in the paper will be available in Hindi as well as in English. IBPS Clerk 2019 preliminary exam is expected to have 100 multiple choice questions (MCQs) from English, Reasoning Ability and Numerical Ability.

The IBPS Clerk exam pattern for the mains exam had 190 objective questions divided into four sections, to be answered in 02 hours and 40 minutes. The Section on Computer Ability has been merged with Reasoning Ability. A similar Exam Pattern for IBPS Clerk 2019 is expected as mentioned in the table below. Any change in the exam pattern will be updated after the release of official notification.

The IBPS Clerk preliminary examination is of one hour duration and is conducted online. It has 3 sections with having 100 questions in total with a maximum score of 100 marks Candidates are required to solve Each section in the time of 20 minutesThe passing marks out of 100 marks is decided by IBPS that is likely to change every year depending on the level of difficulty of the exam.There is negative marking in IBPS Clerk Pre exam as 0.25 marks are deducted for every wrong answer. Candidates must clear the sectional cut-off to qualify for the IBPS Clerk Main exam.

The Mains Examination of IBPS Clerk exam 2019 comprises of 4 sections: Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, English Language, Quantitative, Aptitude & General Awareness. The exam pattern of IBPS Clerk Mains is also changed. IBPS Clerk Mains Exam will now constitute of 190 questions that needs to be completed in a time of 160 minutes.Last Year Computer Apptitude and Reasoning Ability section conduct Separately, but in the recent update both section comes together have 50 question and time duration is 45 minutes.Previously, Computer Aptitude and Reasoning Ability Section used to be conducted separately.. Ans. The Preliminary consist of three sections, English language, Quantitative aptitude and Logical Reasoning. For the Main examination, there would be four sections namely, English, Quantative Aptitude, Reasoning & Computer aptitude and General/Financial Awareness.
