Nine women (Renu, Tina, Shweta, Mala, Shilpa, Sugandha, Ritu, Hina, Meera) shop from seven supermarkets (More, Easy Day, The Dollar Store, Store 99, Big Bazaar, Fresh n Easy, Big Basket) located on seven different floors in a seven storey shopping complex. Each floor of the shopping complex is dedicated to only one supermarket. Each supermarket has four departments (electronics, grocery, home décor and fashion). Each woman shops in one department of at least one supermarket. 2. No woman shops from more than one department in a particular supermarket. No woman shops in a particular department from more than one supermarket. Each woman shops in at least two departments but not more than four departments. 3. Renu shops electronics from Store 99 and grocery from big basket and fashion from Fresh n Easy. Renu shops on third floor but never from The Dollar Store. Neither Shweta not Meera shop from electronics department in any supermarket. Shweta shops from three supermarkets out of which one is on the second floor and the other on the fifth floor. 4. Meera shops grocery from first floor but not from More supermarket. Shilpa shops from three departments. One of these departments is in The Dollar Store and the other is on the fourth floor. Shilpa shops for Home Décor and fashion from consecutive floor. Twice Ritu shops from floor adjacent to the floor from which Shweta shops and for once Ritu and Shweta shop from the same floor. 5.
