Let the speed of train be 'v' m/s.
Length of train = '12v' metres
So, (12v + 576) ÷ 30 = 'v'
Or, 12v + 576 = 30v
Or, 18v = 576
So, 'v' = 32
Therefore, length of the train = 12 × 32 = 384 metres
