    Let the total work be 120 units. (LCM of 60 and 40)

    So, combined efficiency of Amit and Ankit = 120 ÷ 60 = 2 units/day

    And efficiency of Amit, Ankit and Sumit = 120 ÷ 40 = 3 units/day

    So, efficiency of Sumit = 3 – 2 = 1 unit/day

    So, required time = 120 ÷ 1 = 120 days
