A man travelled a total distance of 200 km. He travelled
first 150 km on car with a speed of 30 km/h and rest of the distance on bike whose speed is 20 km/h less than that of the car. Find his average speed for the whole journey.Solution
Total time taken to cover the whole journey = 150/30 + 50/10 = 5 + 5 = 10 km Desired average speed = 200/10 = 20 km/h
