Time taken by A to complete the work = (x × 4) = 4x days Time taken by B to complete the work = (6x × 4/3) = 8x days According to question, => (1/4x) + (1/8x) = 1/20 => (2 + 1)/8x = 1/20 => 8x = 60 => x = 7.5
