Let the number of red marbles in the bag = ‘4x’
Then, number of yellow marbles in the bag = (5/4) × 4x = ‘5x’
And, number of green marbles in the bag = (3/1) × 5x = ‘15x’
According to the question,
4x + 5x + 15x = 96
Or, 24x = 96
Or, x = (96/24) = 4
So, number of yellow marbles in the bag = 5x = 5 × 4 = 20
