Let the original number of cows and goats be '8x' and '11x', respectively
According to the question,
11x - 8x = 60
So, x = 60 ÷ 3 = 20
So, original number of cows and goats = 160 and 220, respectively
Required ratio = (220 - 18):(160 - 12) = 202:148 = 101:74
