    I. 165x² + 97x + 10 = 0 165x² + 75x + 22x + 10 = 0 11x (15x + 2) + 5(15x + 2) = 0 (11x + 5) (15x + 2) = 0 ∴ x = -5/11, -2/15 II. 117y² - 163y + 56 = 0 117y² - 72y - 91y + 56 = 0 9y(13 y – 8) – 7(13 y – 8) = 0 (9y – 17) (13y – 8) = 0 ∴ y = 17/9, 8/13 Hence, ∴ x < y
