    I. 117x² + 250x + 117 = 0 117x² + 169x + 81x + 117 = 0 13x (9x + 13) + 9(9x + 13) = 0 (13x + 9) (9x + 13) = 0 x = -9/13, -13/9 II. 54y² -123y + 65 = 0 54y² - 45y - 78y + 65 = 0 9y(6y – 5) – 13(6y - 5) = 0 (9y – 13) (6y – 5) = 0 y = 13/9, 5/6 Hence, x < y
