ATQ, Let Tap P can fill the tank in 'a' minutes. So Tap Q can fill the tank in '3a' minutes. According to the question, (1/a) + (1/3a) = 1/45 [(3 + 1)/3a] = 1/45 (4/3a) = 1/45 a = 60 So Tap P can fill the tank in 60 minutes.
