Let x litre of petrol is used for transport purpose daily Then, (x + 5) × 30 = (x + 7) × 24 30x + 150 = 24x + 168 6x = 18 x = 3 Therefore, total quantity of oil = (3 + 5) × 30 = 240 litre Required number of days = 240/3 = 80 days
