A Rs. 72,000 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B Rs. 1,20,00 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C Rs. 1,08,000 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D Rs. 96,000 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
E Rs. 84,000 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

      Solution

      Let the saving of 'P' and 'Q' be Rs .'x' each. So, income of 'P' = (x X 3) = Rs. '3x' And, income of 'Q' = (x X 4) = Rs. '4x' ATQ, 3x - x = 24,000 (Since, Expenditure = Income - Savings) So, 'x' = (24,000/2) = 12,000 Therefore, required sum = (3x + 4x) = '7x' = 7 X 12000 = Rs. 84,000
