    Let the initial quantity of milk and water be '3y' and 7y' litres respectively. So, (3y + 9) :(7y + 29) = 2:5 Or, 5 X (3y + 9) = 2 X (7y + 29) Or, 15y + 45 = 14y + 58 Or, 'y' = 13 Therefore, required quantity = 3y + 7y = 10y = 10 X 13 = 130 litres
