      Let, amount of milk and water in mixture be 3x litres and 2x litres respectively. According to question, ⇒ (3x + 20): (2x + 20) = 10:7 ⇒ 21x + 140 = 20x + 200 ⇒ 21x – 20x = 200 – 140 ⇒ x = 60 So, initial quantity of mixture = 60 × (2 + 3) = 300 litres
