water is mixed due to which ratio changes from 5:4 to 1:4. Find initial quantity of mixture. (in litres)Solution
let initial quantity of alcohol be 5x litres & water be 4x litres.
ATQ,
5x/4x+20 = 1/4
20x = 4x + 20 ⇒ x = 1.25
Initial quantity of mixture = 5x + 4x = 11.25 liters
