Let the breadth of the rectangle = x, so the length of the rectangle = 3x Perimeter = 2(l + b) 96 = 2(x + 3x) 48 = 4x x = 12 Breadth = 12 m, Length = 36 m So the area of the rectangle = 12 × 36 = 432 m2
