ATQ,
(x – 24)/(12 – 2) = (2x – 84)/(12 + 2)
(x – 24)/10 = (2x – 84)/14
14x – 336 = 20x – 840
6x = 504
x = 84
So, the value of ‘x’ is 84 km.
