Let the present age of 'Bittu' be '8x' years.
So, present age of 'Puneet' = 8x X 1.375 = '11x' years
ATQ;
{(11x + 8x) + 8 + 8} ÷ 2 = 8x + 11
Or, 19x + 16 = 16x + 22
Or, 3x = 6
So, x = 2
So, present age of 'Bittu' = 2 X 8 = 16 years
