    ATQ,

    Quantity of solution = 150 litres

    Quantity of solution after 30% is removed = 150 – 45 = 105 litres

    Quantity of water in 105 litres solution = 105 × (2/5) = 42 litres

    Quantity of water in the new solution = 42 + 45 = 87 litres
