They have different colour- Pink, Black, White, Green, Red, Yellow, Blue, and Orange not necessarily in the same order. Each couple has a unique colour. Sanjay lives with his wife, Pooja on an even numbered floor but not on the topmost floor. Sanjay does not have Yellow. The one having Pink lives immediately below the one in which Kajal lives. The one who has Black lives on an odd numbered floor.Nisha has Blue. Ashish lives on an odd numbered floor. Prashant does not live on floor numbered 1. The one who has Green lives on one of the floors below the one who has Yellow. Ashish is not married to Nisha. Jyoti is wife of neither Prashant nor Sagar. Rajesh lives on an odd numbered floor but above floor number 3. Only one person lives between Sanjay and Pawan. The one who has Black lives immediately above the one who has Green. Ashish’s wife is not among Jyoti, Geeta and Sarita. Geeta is not married to Sagar. Jyoti has Black colour. Three person live between Rajesh and Sagar,who has White colour. Anita has Red colour. Shivam is married to Kajal and he lives immediately above Prashant who lives on an odd numbered floor. Prashant and Rajesh are not neighbourers to each other (cannot live immediately above or below each other). More than 3 persons live between Prashant and one having Red. The one having Red does not live on floor numbered 2. Rajesh and the one who has Red does not live on floor numbered 7. Shivam does not live on the top most floor. Rajesh lives on an odd numbered floor above floor no 3. (So, either floor no. 5 or floor no. 7). Case-1 3 persons live between Rajesh and Sagar. Sagar has White. Shivam lives immediately above Prashant,who lives on an odd numbered floor. Shivam does not live on the top most floor. Shivam is married to Kajal. The one having Pinklives immediately below Kajal. Ashish lives on an odd numbered floor. Jyoti lives 2 floors below Ashish. (So, Jyoti lives on Floor numbered 5). Jyoti has Black. The one having Green lives immediately below the person having Black. Ashish is not married to Nisha. Nisha has Blue. (So, only possibility is Nisha lives on floor numbered 2).
Sanjay does not have Yellow. (So, only possibility is Sanjay has Orange). Ashish is married to neither Geeta nor Sarita. (So, only possibility is Ashish being married to Avni). Sagar is not married to Geeta. (So, only possibility is Sarita being married to Sagar). After filling the remaining data we get,
