Let the downstream speed and upstream speed of boat be 3x km/hr and 2x km/hr
So, the upstream speed of boat = (180/15) = 12 km/hr
So, 12 = 2x
So, 'x' = 6
So, the speed of boat in still water = {(3x + 2x) /2} = 2.5x
= 2.5 X 6 = 15 km/hr
