      Amount received by 'A' = 1000 × (6/10) = Rs. 600 Amount received by 'B' = 1000 × (2/10) = Rs. 200 Let Amount given by 'A' to 'B' be Rs. 'x' According to the question, 4 × (600 - x) = 200 + x Or, 2400 - 4x = 200 + x Or, 2400 - 200 = x + 4x Or, 2200 = 5x Or, x = 440
