A Rs.700 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B Rs.600 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C Rs.400 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D Rs.200 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
E None of these Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

Solution

Amount that should be received by P initially = [4/(4 + 3 + 5)] × 2400 = Rs.800 Amount received by P mistakenly = [5/(5 + 3 + 2)] × 2400 = Rs.1200 Required difference = 1200 – 800 = Rs.400
