Let initially the number of boys and girls be 13x and 9x, respectively.
(13x + 2) : (9x ā 6) = 5 : 3
Or, 3(13x + 2) = 5(9x ā 6)
Or, 39x + 6 = 45x ā 30
Or, 6x = 36 ā x = 6
Therefore, number of girls = 9 Ć 6 = 54Ā
