    Pawan divides some fruits among his three children,

    Amit, Bishnu, and Chinu. The ratio of the number of fruits received by Amit and Chinu together to the number of fruits received by Bishnu is 5:2. Chinu received 150% of the number of fruits received by Amit. If Chinu received 1500 fruits, find the sum of the number of fruits received by Amit and Bishnu together.

    ATQ, Let the total fruits divided by 70a fruits received by Amit and Chinu together = 70a×(5/7) = 50a And fruits received by Bishnu = 70a×(2/7) = 20a Let the fruits received by Amit = 10k and fruits received by Chinu will be 150% of 10k = (150/100)×10k = 15k fruits received by Amit and Chinu together = 10k + 15k = 25k Since 50a = 25k 2a = k Fruits received by Amit = 10k = 10×2a = 20a Fruits received by Chinu =15k = 1500 k =100 2a = 100 a = 100/2 = 50 Therefore, the sum of Fruits received by Amit and Bishnu = 20a+20a = 40a = 40×50 = Rs.2000
