      ‘A’ is half of ‘B’ and ‘C’ is equal to average of ‘A’ and ‘B’. If sum of these three numbers is 540, then ind the second highest number among the three.

      Let the value of ‘B’ be ‘2x’ So, value of ‘A’ = 2x/2 = ‘x’ So, value of ‘C’ = (2x + x)/2 = 3x/2 = ‘1.5x’ ATQ; x + 1.5x + 2x = 540 Or, 4.5x = 540 Or, x = 120 So, the second highest number = ‘C’ = 1.5x = 1.5 × 120 = 180
