Let the area of plot received by P, Q and R be 3x, 4x and 8x respectively. According to the question,  => 4x + 5600 = 8x => 4x = 5600 => x = 5600/4 = 1400 Area of plot received by P and Q together, = 3x + 4x = 7x = 7 x 1400 = 9800m²
