    Solution

    Let the area of plot received by P, Q and R be 2x, 5x and 8x respectively. According to the question,   => 5x + 4200 = 8x => 3x = 4200 => x = 4200/3 = 1400 Area of plot received by P and Q together, = 2x + 5x = 7x = 7 x 1400 = 9800m²
