Solution

Let the average age of the whole team be xyears Total age of the whole team = 11x years => [11x - (24 + 29)]/9 = (x-2) => 11x – 53 = 9x– 18 => 11x- 9x = 53 – 18 => 2x = 35 => x = 17 years 6 months
