    ATQ, Quantity of gold in the mixture = 280 × 5/8 = 175 litres Quantity of silver in the mixture = 280 × 3/8 = 105 litres According to the question, 175:(105 + x) = 3:2 2 × 175 = 3 × (105 + x) 350 = 315 + 3x 3x = 35 x = 11.6 litres or 12 litres
