Let, amount of milk and water in mixture be 3x litres and 2x litres respectively. According to question, ⇒ (3x + 26): (2x + 26) = 10:7 ⇒ 21x + 182 = 20x + 260 ⇒ 21x – 20x = 260 – 182 ⇒ x = 78 So, initial quantity of mixture = 78 × (2 + 3) = 390 litres
