     Area of square = 289 cm², Side of square = 17 cm Area of rectangle = (l x b)  Length = (17 x 1.5 = 25.5) cm  Breadth = (17 x 1.2 = 20.4) cm  Area of rectangle = (25.5 x 20.4 = 520.2) cm² Required ratio = 289/520.2 = 5/9 = 5:9
