Question
The LCM of two natural numbers is 25 times their HCF. If the product of given two numbers is 22,500, then find the LCM of the numbers.
Solution
Let the HCF of the number be 'H'. So, LCM = 25H Product of two numbers = Product of their HCF and LCM So, 25H X H = 22,500 Or, H2 = 900 Or, 'H' = 30 or, H = - 30 Since, HCF cannot be negative. So, 'H' = 30 Therefore, LCM = 25 X 30 = 750ย
