    ATQ,

    Let HCF = x

    Then LCM = 16x

    x + 16x = 340

    ⇒ 17x = 340

    ⇒ x = 20

    Now,

    40 × y = 20 × 16 × 20 = 6400

    ⇒ y = 6400 ÷ 40 = 160
