If 12 times a number is subtracted from the square of the number and then 36 is added to the result, then the result is zero. Find the

Solution
Let the number be 'x' According to the question, x2 - 12x + 36 = 0 Or, x2 - 6x - 6x + 36 = 0 Or, x(x - 6) - 6(x - 6) = 0 Or, (x - 6)(x - 6) = 0 So, x = 6 L.C.M of 6 and 16 = 48
