    Let the M.P of the pen be 5x. That of the pencils be =6x Discounted price on the pencil =5x ×80/100=4x Total discount price on the pen and pencil =11x ×85/100=9.35x So, the discount price on the pencil=9.35x-4x=5.35x Therefore, % discount price on the pencil=(.65x/6x) ×100 =10.83%
