      I:  Pipes A and B can fill half the tank in 6 hrs 30 minutes. Statement II:  Together with emptying pipe C, pipes A and B can fill the tank in 32  (1/2)hrs. Study the following information carefully and answer the given questions.

      Solution

      A and B can fill half the tank in 6 hrs 30 minutes. So full tank in double time i.e, 13 hrs. So from II 1/C = 2/65 – 1/13 = – 3/65 So C can empty full tank in 21 (2/3)   hrs.
