    Let the no. of children = xTotal number of notebooks distributed = Number of children X number of notebook each child gotHence, total no. of notebooks distributed as per the given 1st condition= x/5 X x = x2/5 .... (i)According to the 2nd condition; total number of notebooks=10 X x/2 = 5x .... (ii)Comparing (i) & (ii), we getx2/5 = 5x=> x = 25Hence, total no. of notebooks = x2/5= (25 X 25)/5=125
