Let fifth and sixth numbers be ‘3x’ and ‘2x’, respectively. So, 3x + 2x = 50 × 8 – 60 × 3 – 70 × 2 = 20 Or, 5x = 20 Or, x = 4 So, fifth number = 4 × 3 = 12
