Let fifth and sixth numbers be ‘7x’ and ‘5x’, respectively. So, 7x + 5x = 80 × 8 – 60 × 7 – 50 × 5 = 300 Or, 12x = 300 Or, x = 25 So, fifth number = 25 × 7 = 175
