Let the average runs scored by the remaining 10 batsmen be x. So, runs scored by the captain = x + 26 Total score of the team = 10x + x + 26 = 11x + 26 => 11x + 26 = 235 => x = 19 So, the score of the captain = 19 + 26 = 45
