    Bowling average = (total runs conceded)/(total wicket taken ) Let the total number of wickets be x Then, bowling average = 15 Runs conceded = 15 x  Now, (15 x + 30)/(x +  5)= 13.5   15x + 30 = 13.5 (x + 5) 15 x + 30 = 13.5 x + 67.5 1.5 x = 67.5 – 30 x = 37.5/1.5  = 25
