    Let Avni’s age be x yrs. x + 11/9 x + x/4 = 178 89/36 x = 178 x = 72 yrs. Pooja’s present age = 72/4 = 18 yrs Avni’s brother’s present age = 72 × 11/9 = 88 yrs ∴ Required difference = 88 – 18 = 70 yrs.
