    Let the present ages of Rohit and Mohit be ‘9x’ years and ‘5x’ years, respectively. ATQ : (9x - 7) + (5x - 7) = 42
    14x - 14 = 42
    14x = 56
    x = 4
    So, present age of Rohit = (9 x 4 = 36) years So, required age of Rohit = (36 + 8 = 44) years
